Accessible Education for Everyone

Stories Behind the Projects

Each project represents not just technical achievement, but personal growth and real-world impact. Here are stories from students whose projects are making a difference.

Deepika Agarwal

"Working on my financial literacy app taught me that accessibility isn't just about compliance—it's about dignity and inclusion. When my visually impaired uncle could finally manage his banking independently using my app, I knew I had found my purpose."

Deepika's FinanceEasy app is now used by over 500 people with visual impairments across Mumbai and Pune. The project earned recognition from the Reserve Bank of India's digital inclusion initiative and led to an internship offer from a leading fintech company.

Arjun Mehta

"Building an accessible job portal seemed impossible at first. But our instructors showed us that with proper planning and user testing, we could create something that works for everyone. The feedback from users with cognitive disabilities completely changed how I approach design."

Arjun's JobConnect platform has helped 150+ people with disabilities find meaningful employment. The project won the 2024 National Student Innovation Award and is being considered for implementation by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
